GEP Exams vs. CEFR Levels
Since inception, the GEP English Exams have had a one to one correlation to the CEFR, they are not simple or later adaptations.
Every GEP English Exam corresponds to a proficiency level as determined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:

All GEP English Exams are designed to test 3 core language skills: language use, reading and listening or 5 core language skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing and language use (grammar and vocabulary).
The GEP English Exams are conducted online on our testing platform and scoring is entirely automated, requiring no marking by the school administrators or teachers. Speaking and Writing are recorded and graded by our expert raters.
